What "God's Chorus of Crickets" sounds like sped up
Fed it into audacity and sped it back up. Not everything on the internet is true.

Part three of the Addio, Fiorito Asil Cage Match series. I thinks these two singers of had two of the most naturally beautiful lyric tenor voices in recorded history. Although they are a generation apart, I find this match pretty even. Enjoy! 1. Beniamino Gigli, 1940 2. Luciano Pavarotti, 1974

Corelli and Björling sing the Flower Song AT THE SAME TIME!
With the help of the magic of digital editing, and because I was stuck in an airport for too long without anything to do, now you can hear what it would have sounded like if Jussi Björling and Franco Corelli sang Don José together simultaneously! Who wouldn't want to hear that? This is all just for fun and to fight boredom, but I hope you like it!

Große Klasse 👍👍👍
Super
Beautiful beautiful beautiful Andrea ❤
There's always that one person coughing lol
Mükemmel.
Baritonoguapo.......there are 2 winners here: Fischer- Diskau, for his elegance and enunciation....and Siepi for his measured , bold confidence....Pinza and Gobbi are fine Verdi and Puccini baritones....Mozart is NOT their forte.
Gobbi e Nucci the best
None better than Von Stade!!
1.Maria Callas 2. Joan Sutherland i ex aequo Luisa Tetrazzini 3.Mady Mesplé and Natalie Dessay A tak naprawdę wszystkie są świetne. A ilu wspaniałych interpretacji brak.
Pons, Sutherland and Robin were the best IMO.
Magnificent! Those two will never be surpassed.
Boris Christoff forever the is the lowest note I ever heard him sing and I am impressed!!!!!
Of these 10 - Joan Sutherland, but if I had a totally free choice - Ingeborg Hallstein!
The most perfect lyric tenor voice ever, in my opinion!
I prefer Heppner
Their voices blend nicely
Yep. It's bs.
Where's Luciana Serra?
Aint that the chick from shrek
Bravissimo.....
Dziękuję. SZACUNEK. ❤❤❤
Now that we've heard this, I say let's hear a worthy comparison of "Suoni la tromb" from 'I Puritani'. They vary so wildly, it borders on the bizarre.
Only one embodied the 'Swan' and his long, long, breathless lines. Sustained not only beauty of tone and phrase but didn't breathe wherever she wished. Brava to the clear choice.
I like her beautiful timber, her dramatic intensity fits perfectly well with this demanding aria.
Simple amazing!
A masterful interpretation. Thank you maestra Von Stade
La voix tres magnifique! Merci beaucoup.
Kurt Moll. Fin.
Fantastic! A true diva!🤩
When was this recording made? I can’t find a reference in the notes.
I simply adore Corelli and he really showed off with the Vittoria haha.. but he did kinda mess up a little. I think the most complete versions were by Björling, Del Monaco and Carreras. Special mentions to Di Stefano and Cioni for intense interpretations.
A futile exercise to compare two incomparable voices. We are fortunate to hear both of them from the remote past and marvel at their mastery.
Her performance is sung with grace, majestically and technically with utmost musicalty and effortlessly! Wonderful to be the audience! Wendy Louise Hall ( Pianist. Musician
As a native Italian speaker you can barely understand any of them, Ponselle least of all. Callas is no more understandable than Sutherland and her vowels are completely wrong. This is before Sutherland ever sang the role. Instead, at the same volume as the other two, put in the Casta Diva from the 1964 studio recording and it’s no contest at all in terms of singing. They are all great, but by almost every metric Sutherland is a better singer than the other two. The myth of Ponselle persists because barely anybody alive has ever heard her (my father has actually and said she was "no Sutherland"). The fact remains the high C in Aida almost gave her a nervous breakdown and her voice was extremely inconsistent. Callas's high notes here are already quite unattractive. I'm assuming SEEING Callas must have been something but her recordings are marred by an ugly voice with uneven registers and technically awful high notes.
Fabulous singing and diction! The great Bjorling! No one like him now or even!❤
Callas. With so much expression and the coloratura precise.
❤
Callas as the edge for me
